Thank you for your awesome hospitality! We enjoyed everything about our stay with you. It was fun to get up and enjoy the warm coffee cake that your mom brought by every morning, and it was relaxing to come back in the evenings and enjoy time by the river with our friends. We're not sure when we'll be back, there's a lot we still have to see, but we will be recommending you to anyone we hear of that is heading your way!
Enjoy! And keep doing what you're doing...it works!

Thank you again for a fantastic 4 days, about 86 days too short for me! We are back to Austin and 100+ degree weather. As I listened to our air conditioner hum all night, I tried to imagine it was the Big Thompson river outside our room. Hope you enjoyed our left over wine! We'll be back next year! This pic is of me and my 7 year old daughter on Trail Ridge Rd - the most snow either kids have ever seen! So many memories...
I am so excited to be coming back again this summer.

We just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at River Spruce recently. The setting was beautiful and relaxing. We loved being so close to the river. The cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable and perfect for our family (We staying in The Pueblo.) We appreciated your hospitality. You were gracious and made us feel at home. And the muffins....absolutely wonderful! We will be back as soon as possible. Thanks for a great stay!
I want to thank you for the wonderful time we spent at River Spruce. It was exactly what I had hoped it would be. Peaceful and restorative. Sitting by the river was calming yet invigorating. You are definitely on my list of places to steal away to.

Thank you again for a wonderful stay in the Pueblo. The weather you ordered for us was spectacular and, as nice as the cabins are, we didn´t spend nearly enough time there!!
I trust we left everything in good order and didn´t make too much noise packing and leaving before 6am (it was tricky to get the bear-bar off the dumpster in the dark and keep things silent).
While we are there, we always look around at lodging options (we like to try new places). But the full kitchens you offer are a real standout, and allow us to bring food with us. Many cabins don´t offer that, or they do at substantial premiums. Some hotels are cheaper, but when one then adds in restaurant costs in Estes Park, well...
I guess what I´m saying is that your hospitality, your beautiful location on the Big Thompson, the quality of the cabins, and your pricing all combine to make River Spruce a value that´s impossible for us to beat anywhere else.

John and I loved River Spruce so much we are gonna come back every other year and stay longer.We enjoyed our cozy little Cottage and Hot Tub by the River and the Humming Birds are VERY entertaining. On the morning we left was a wonderful River Spruce treat when we saw the bear across the River after eating the delicious Muffins you brought us. I went fishing for the first time at River Spruce and caught a Rainbow Trout on my first try. Your beautiful dogs were very sweet and loving Ill always remember the Border Collies sweet little love cuddle she gave me lol. I miss River Spruce already and its been 3 days. I cant wait to come back.

We feel absolutely blessed to have found your establishment, it could not have been a more perfect place to spend our relaxing week. The river, the cozy cabin, the muffins, the hummingbirds, the hot tub, and your friendly hospitality were superb.

Shelley and Wendye, Thank you both so very much for making our first family vacation a special one. It was a week that we'll always remember. We sincerely enjoyed every minute of our stay at River Spruce and we couldn't have asked for a more gracious and hospitable atmosphere. Thunderbird is a wonderfully cozy cabin, and those short seven days we spent there have truly brought us closer as a family. And those muffins... what else can I say? :) Thanks again. It's been some time, but I wanted to drop you a note to say thank you and send you a photo of our stay at River Spruce last summer. The first morning of our stay, Aaron took me out by the river with a basket of your homemade rolls and asked me to marry him. It was the most perfect setting for one of the most unforgettable mornings of my life.
We spent the next few days enjoying the quiet, peaceful beauty of Estes Park, watching the hummingbirds who would visit our cabin every afternoon, and taking in the gorgeous river view from our cabin. Thank you for this beautiful place- we will return on many anniversaries to come!

Wendye and Shelley, Our September vacation was fantastic! The atmosphere was so relaxing as our long-standing tradition at River Spruce continues. It was wonderful to meet both of you and we already look forward to our visit in 2009!
My family and I had never been on a vacation, and it was wonderful. We will never forget the experience we had. Shelley and Wendy made us feel right at home, the day we left I cried because I wish we could have stayed there forever. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable.
